Join The Revolution!
Since 1999, the Bellarmine Robotics program has provided an after school outlet for students who find a passion in the sciences. Team 360 is Bellarmine's competitive robotics team, which continues to win awards yearly and spread it’s influence in the Pacific Northwest.
At its core, the goal of Team 360 is to give students an opportunity to foster their passion for STEM in an exciting and creative way. Students do this by creating robots from the ground up, which compete in FIRST Robotics competitions around the region. Over the last 18 years, Team 360 has experienced plenty of success and earned dozens of awards, but perhaps their most notable accomplishment is the mark they leave on the community.
With members of the team regularly volunteering at St. Patrick's and St. Charles in Tacoma, as well as running summer camps at the Boys and Girls Club, Team 360 is able to extend their love for STEM to younger generations of robot enthusiasts and children who may be struggling to find purpose for their passion. Even though it’s Team 360 that offers their mentorship to younger generations of scientists and engineers in the community, it’s industry professionals, such as Paul Roush and Eric Stokely, who provide their mentorship to Team 360. With over a dozen mentors ranging in ages and expertise, students have an opportunity to get a glimpse into the careers that may be available after graduation, as well as receive valuable guidance and support from robotics competition veterans.
